Queensberry Design Limited was formed in June 2003 and mainly focuses on Engineering Design and Consultancy within the housing development sector but is also now moving into the commercial sector, with designs for new business parks currently being undertaken.
Why did they get involved in the campaign?
As a relatively young North Eastern based Company, Queensberry Design Ltd believes that North East England and all it has to offer should be promoted not just regionally but nationally. The campaign deserves support which will help benefit North East England as a whole as well as all of those who become involved with the scheme, which is why Queensberry Design has become actively involved with the campaign.
What are they passionate about?
In order to raise the profile of the region, Queensberry Design Ltd have now incorporated the 'Passiionate about engineering design' and North East England logos onto their email system. It will shortly be adopted into the new website as well as on all marketing literature.
How has the campaign benefited them?
Raising the profile and awareness of Queensberry Design Ltd through being featured on the North East England website can only be advantageous to the company. Having a direct link to the Queensberry Design website can only strengthen the current client base and lift the profile of the company.
As a local business, having similar values to the campaign, Queensberry Design is constantly showing support to local community projects and charities. In April 2007 three members of Queensberry Design Ltd’s engineering staff tppk part in a ‘wax for men’ for the local ‘Chin-up-Charity’. Queensberry Design also sponsor the New Ship Football Club based in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea, Northumberland. Having events like the ‘wax for men’ mentioned on the Events Page of the website can only be a benefit to the company and reinforce Queensberry Design’s commitment to supporting local charities.
Why should others get involved in the campaign?
Being part of North East England is something we should all be proud of. The increased support of the campaign and the greater awareness that is gained from it can only help in making the region stronger not just economically but also a better place to live and work. It is fantastic to be connected with a campaign which has been judged as the Best Integrated PR Campaign in the region by the CIPR and to be associated with such a positive and worthy cause.
